Senior Pastor

Pr Johnson George

Pastor Johnson George serves as the Senior Pastor of Word of Hope Bethesda Pentecostal Fellowship, Watford. After accepting Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour in 1983, he has faithfully served in the work of God through every opportunity entrusted to him.

During his professional life in Delhi and Saudi Arabia, Pastor Johnson was an active and committed member of the local church, serving across various ministries. Since moving to the UK in 2006, he has been involved in church ministry at WCF Wembley, where he also led services during the absence of the Pastor.

Since beginning the ministry in Watford in 2017, Pastor Johnson has worked tirelessly to serve families in the area, provide pastoral care, support those in need, and lead regular prayer and worship meetings on Fridays and Sundays.

Pastor Johnson’s family is closely involved in church life and ministry. His wife, Sherly, along with their children Prisilla and her husband Samson, and Ephraim, actively support and serve in the work of the church. By God’s grace, in 2016, Pastor Johnson and his wife completed a Diploma in Christian Studies at Bethel Bible College.
